I've been doing this since i was 17 kid, and i am now 38, and know my stuff back to front thank you, as well as building pc's personally for many many years. You really want to bring time in the field into it? My first live piano recordings were in '69 with a Blumlein pair into a Studer reel to reel. Then again, it could get down to the scope of your projects because I have seen Nuendo run great on an Mac but the track count and insert count was low, like 8 and 12. They teach Cubase and Nuendo classes and over the last couple of years have recommended them for PC only. Thanks very muchA local studio has tried the bootcamp Cubase route, then bailed and bought a PC because they didn't like the poor performance they experineced on the Mac. I dont exactly want build a PC bc i do love mac and im not experienced with pc but i will if i have to.Ĭan you lot please give me some insight into running cubase though PC on a mac pro using bootcamp and what my best options are in this situation? Im not even sure if i can run cubase through windows on my Mac properly. I am scared bc i know I might run in to glitches and issues down the road and im not looking forward to that. I am pondering if I should stick with getting a Mac quad core so i can mainly run cubase though PC on it and have the best of both worlds. Im a long time mac runner on logic/cubase however There are a few programs for PC. I know there are a few threads close to this but they dont answer my question fully.
